  This is my 3rd trip for the drive-in.
  I got a single Teriyaki chicken meal with a drink.
  Moist chicken and rice. It came with steamed cabbage, broccoli and tasty carrot circles.
  And I ordered the tempura shrimp side dish, which was about $5. It was excellent with 5 Panko fried shrimps with sweet and sour sauce.
  Finally I ordered the small Miso soup for $2.50. It was so delicious and healthy. It had tofu and green onions.
  
  Altogether I spent $16. There was plenty left for my dinner.
  I enjoyed my new find. Next time I want the Korean short ribs and miso.

  Teriyaki Chicken Express serves teriyaki chicken in an express manner. They also serve a lot of other Japanese and Asian foods in a fresh and healthy manner in the Rosemont neighborhood of Sacramento. The restaurant has a drive thru and plenty of parking for suburban warriors.
  
  I was drawn here by the teriyaki chicken and was not disappointed. The standard combo includes a generous portion of thigh meat grilled with a light coating of their thin house teriyaki sauce. It is served over a lot of rice and fresh steamed vegetables with a soda and spring roll. I do recommend the double meat option unless you are watching the calories as the standard meal is rather lean. The overall menu is huge with lots of options.
  
  The overall restaurant is very basic but clean. There is limited seating inside, but they use real dishes for dine in orders. This is the place to go for teriyaki in the area with great prices and delicious food.

  This place is underrated! Came here bc I didn't feel like driving to the Vietnamese restaurants nearby for a chicken and plate dish bc it was traffic hour. decided to give this place a try irregardless of the bad reviews. Haven't had any bad experience yet. The Thai chicken is my favorite!! It's like a dollar difference from the two item combo and the single item or something like that. Really convenient and fair prices!
  
  Haven't tried their sushi yet bc I don't wanna take my chances with sushi unless I'm at an actual sushi bar. But tried almost everything on their food combo menu and love it all. Calamari is a hit and miss. There's been days where it's dry and salty and days where it's perfect.

  I have been going here for years and it's still the best teriyaki in the game. The prices are extremely fair for what you get and it's always cooked to perfection. The teriyaki sauce is hands down the best in town and the egg rolls are amazing. It's worth the drive over to check it out.

  Discovered this hole-in-the-wall place at the evening when I want something quick. Found them by Yelp at the middle of no where. All restaurants are little too far from where I'm. Teriyaki Chicken Express was the closest restaurant. I designed to try them out.
  
  When I drove into the parking lot. The restaurant looks old. The inside has no customer. The drive though window has one car waiting for their orders. I almost want to leave! But everything is still too far away. I just hope they are okay!
  
  Ordered the teriyaki chicken combo. This combo meal come with the soda. The food is ready in five minutes. Looks good, smells good! I tried the chicken. It was very delicious! They have it done perfectly. Not over cooked. Not over seasoning! It doesn't looks or tastes like the other teriyaki chicken I have before which is very dry and cover by a lot of teriyaki sauces! The vegetables on the sides are also very good. They just steamed the veggies with little bit of salt. So good!
  
  The only problem they have is the floor was sticky! I guess this could be because I came in at the end of the day. I just hope they will cleans the floor more often. I don't very enjoys walking on a very sticky floor at all. I'll come back to try something else next time when I'm in the area!
